Why Literacy Matters
There are many reasons why individuals experience low literacy levels in adulthood, including learning disabilities, changing schools frequently, lack of a role model, poverty, and more. Providing access to adult literacy programs is a key component to solving this issue.

READ Ottawa is proud to be the only nonprofit organization in Ottawa County offering FREE one on one literacy tutoring for adults. We are on a mission to empower local learners with the reading, writing, and language skills they need to succeed - and we need your help to make it happen.

Visionary Curriculum Fund
Provides proven practical instructional techniques, manuals and workbooks supplied by ProLiteracy. This support level also includes:
